land o plenty

A couple of pics from our Labor Day bbq: Here's the new D baby, if you haven't seen her yet
J & E in the pool...

We've had a great summer for our little garden - didn't buy a single tomato and were able to share quite a lot! Farmer M liked taking pictures of particularly bountiful harvests:

But this big guy is special - I'm quite sure it would have made the front page of my hometown newspaper, which specialized in large vegetables. We're going to raise him as our own and make sure he gets into a good college...

Here's M playing GTA with him...

In other news, has anyone heard John Mayer singing Free Fallin'? OMG, so beautiful. I've listened to it like 400 times since I first heard it. Yesterday.

It sure would've made the front page along with the biggest mushrooms!....looks like the Labor Day party was a big success (is there still water in the pool?) and what a great lookin' bunch of tomatoes. (could have displayed them at the county fair...they would had won a ribbon!)

Love your hair that way!

What a fun time for labor day. That pool looks very inviting.

And your tomato harvest is just beautiful. With that tomato scare at the grocery store this summer, it's been pretty slim pickins. We haven't enjoyed a good fresh tomato in I don't know how long. Congrats on you new baby - cucumber? Or is it zucchini?

If you didn't know Tom Petty's original version, you would have thought that the original came from John Mayer. Great song!

Yes, I like your hair!
Love you

I love your hair! Lyman was playing that song this morning when I woke up. I should greet each day with it!

don't front. I totally know what you're going to do with that "child" of yours, and I think your cannibalistic ways are bad enough without your dismembering, chopping, and *pickling* the victim's remains. You make Patrick Bateman look like... well, Jason Bateman.
