On I Write Like you copy in some text and it tells you who you write like. I copied and pasted some of my blog: George Orwell. Some more blog: David Foster Wallace. An email: Stephen King.
Oh, great, a bunch of dudes! Straightforward writers, not especially elegant, with the exception of Foster Wallace, who writes like a fright train and I find largely unbearable.
It's silly but fun and also infuriating. (I just did it again: Dan Brown. Again: HP Lovecraft. Whhhaaaaat?)

hee hee hee! Same piece, got Nabokov for one paragraph, Margaret Atwood for the second. Methinks the "I write like" program is imperfect at best.
That's right, Byotches. I blog like Stephenie Meyer. Or Jane Austen. Or Cory Doctorow (who?!?).
