Read the Books You've Always Meant to Read

It's been a bit of a bummer of a weekend what with MORE SNOW and CONTINUED ILLNESS. I mean, what kind of world do we live in? Terrible. I did manage to drag self to book club, which was a really fun, despite my massive sinus pain and lack of hearing in my left ear.

Lately I'm more than usually involved in my books and wish there were some way to cram them into my brain, Matrix-style. Although, on the other hand, love lingering over them. Did anyone catch the Amazon CEO on The Daily Show? I'm not sure I'd turn down a Kindle if someone gave it to me, but I DO love my books (my physical books). John Stewart really handed it to him when he couldn't produce any great reason to buy one besides "You can read with one hand." ??? That being said, I suppose I've been doing more tv watching lately than reading, which is a bit embarrassing. I lovelovelove The Dollhouse, the new Joss Wedon show. And I rather like that new Lie to Me with Tim Roth. It's about reading people expressions; they'll show photos of real folks - I think more than once Bill Clinton saying, "I did not have sex. with. that. woman." and then Tim Roth goes, "See? He's lying." Or like, any random picture of Dick Cheney and Roth says, "See? He's showing contempt." I took a bold move and completely removed Monk and Sarah Conner Chronicles from the DVR (I terminated it.) ha.
