Well, would you believe I'm still feeling pretty sick? My goal was to be 100% by this weekend, but I don't think it's going to happen. Dern it all!

I've been doing little more than dragging myself to and fro work and then laying on the couch at the end of the day, begging a certain husband to deliver juice and antibiotics while I watch bad tv until going to bed by 9pm.

A good portion of that bad tv is American Idol; I'm not quite sure I'm ready to commit to this season. At an early stage, I can barely handle the WOOOOOOs and the BOOOOOOs of the fraudience. Also, how many times do the judges have to tell these darn kids to pick young, cool music? If I wanted to hear dreary music from the 80s being sung by overly earnest young people, I'd crash a high school talent show.

Which is not to say that I don't appreciate the fact that these kids 'spect the old songs - whatshisname singing I'd Do Anything for Love by Meatloaf. That song has always amused me, and I like trying to guess what it's about. A quick visit to songmeanings.net revealed that no one shares my theory, that the song is about uh, now I don't want to say what I thought it was about. What do you guys think?

Hmmm, sounds like she wants to invite a third partner to the bedroom (that's putting it as politely as I can).

Well after reading song meanings about Meatloaf song, I don't think I ever knew all of the correct words, nor have I heard it lately. I never thought of anything dirty about "I won't do that" I guess my mind wasn't in the gutter,(shocking) like you and Kathy. LOL!

I am normally a huge American Idol fan and this year I just can't get into it. I think I have about 3 on dvr, but can't bring myself to watch them unless I have absolutely nothing else to watch. I agree with Simon most of the time anymore, I want to see these sixteen year olds sing something we might hear from them on the radio. Someone needs to tune them into this, you would think they would know just from the past years of watching A.I. Duh!

However Brian and I really like Lie to Me, I love it when they show the pics of old pres, etc. That is just awesome!

Hope you feeling better. Vomitting went around our house this past week. Lane puked in my bed twice, poor guy. I had a HA, I didn't think was ever going to go away. I know your pain, just keep taking lots of drugs.

What wouldn't Meatloaf do...? Hmmmm...like CLT I never imagined he was talking about anything sexual because we all know if he ever gets lucky, he'll do whatever it takes to close the deal... I'm thinking he's talking about something that would actually make him a good husband; one of those invaluable your-comfort-and-happiness-is-more-important-than-anything-else-on-the-planet kind of things that make for a happy marriage.

Are you going to tell us what you thought?
