*cough*

Oh, you won't believe it. Right after getting back from Vegas I've come down with a pretty bad cold. Aside from a few hours here and there, I haven't been able to work this week. I think I'm going to become one of those lunatics that never goes on a plane without a surgical face mask. I was pretty depressed to be sick on my b-day, but now I just hope to be well by this weekend. My cousin sent me this cute ecard that captures how I want to feel... My bike, my basket full of goodies and a cupcake on my head? Yes, please! Alas, in reality it's more like me, laying on the couch watching reruns of whatever's on the ol' DVR, surrounded by popsicle sticks. Today for fun I Facebooked everyone with my same name. That took up some time.

Line of credit totally has your back.
It's nice to be positively affirmed.

I remember "LONG" ago when you rode a bike as a little girl with your brother and sister (and dear 'ol dad), mom wasn't much for riding; I was wondering, was the bike you had, Blue? (dumb question). But a nice birthday card from your cousin, that's what got me on the bike thought. Did you have a brownie for your b-day?....Who's this.... 'line of credit'? I don't understand. Hope you are getting better, it's almost the weekend! Have fun!

My first bike was kind of hot pink, as I recall. Then when I got older, you and mom (really the McDaniels) got me another bike, which was blue.

Do you remember the banana seat bike? Was the one you ran into the light pole there in the front yard? OUCH!!

Hope you are feeling better this week and able to go back to work and ride your bike.

Oh yes. I'd forgot about that one. I think there's a picture somewhere...

Yes, I crashed into a pole after some dramatic and clumsy sidewalk trickery and had to get a lot of stitches. Still have a hell of a scar. But, you were my hero, Connie.
