KHM's looking for a pick-me-up - this is the best thing I can think of, my favorite beverage of late...
American in Paris
1 1/2 ounces bourbon
1/2 ounce creme de cassis
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Shake with ice, serve up in a martini glass.

I didn't mention it over on WKHM but... on Friday I'm running away!!!! YAY! It's planned, of course, but 4 days, 3 nights all on my own in a super-secret-but-close-enough-in-case-of-emergency-location. I will find some approximation of this beverage to get that party started!
